
The British Forces Clinic (Southern Europe) (BFC (SE)) is located opposite the UKJSU within the JFC Naples site. The BFC (SE) aims to offer a General Practice Primary Care facility similar to or better than that available in the UK, be it National Health Service or Defence Medical Services. Since April 2008 the BFC (SE) has been medically responsible for all Italian Isolated Detachments (ISODETs) as well as those throughout Southern Europe.

The BFC (SE) is a dispensing practice. As such prescribed medications can be dispensed within the BFC (SE). There are currently no charges for prescriptions at the BFC (SE) for dependants.Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made in person or by telephoning the BFC (SE) no less than 48 hours in advance of collection.
Medications are supplied from NHS Logistics in the UK. Consequently the average time from order to delivery is 4 weeks. If you are a new joiner please ensure that you have adequate personal medications prior to leaving the UK or previous Unit/Establishment.

Requests for appointments can be made by telephone or in person in advance.
The four clinical staff (Doctor, Nurse, Midwife and Health Visitor) undertake regular clinics in the British Community Centre (Lago Patria). Appointments for these clinics can only be made by contacting the BFC (SE).
